The Sox in their long history have a lifetime .506 winning percentage which is something to be proud of as a fan but it's still hard to believe that the Sox have never made the post-season 2 years in a row.

Great post, Little Nell. I enjoy reading your perspective here on WSI. It's great that you've seen the Sox in two World Series (albeit 46 years apart). That 2005 White Sox team was a very special group of grinders and every time I watch my WS DVD's, I still get goosebumps!
I also find that stat about the Sox not making the playoffs two years in a row unbelievable, although I know it is true. Here's hoping that stat changes starting in 2013!
