I was thinking the same thing when I read that. Pitchers and Quarterbacks are taught to build long, lean muscles for velocity. They are never taught to bulk up. I don't know who was preaching this to him, it is so insane. When pitchers add 30 pounds of muscle, it should be 1/2 in their legs. Hitters bulk up, Pitchers get longer/leaner.
