It is fair to assume that neither Mike Quade nor Terry Francona is going anywhere soon. Charlie Manuel turns 67 next year and the Phillies might view Ryne Sandberg as a possible successor. The Phils can now monitor how well Sandberg does as a AAA manager in their system.
