Besides, it's not exactly like he will be able to single-handedly turn the organization around. I fail to see any harm in him spending half a season in AA before moving to AAA. FWIW, Viciedo has only played 9 games at 3B this season, as opposed to around 40 at first. We can pretty safely say, I think, that Dayan Viciedo is now a first baseman.
