Birmingham is in the playoffs. This year was one of the best they've ever had.
The Birmingham correction aside, it stands to reason that any improvement in the talent within the minor league system would start at the lower levels. That's where newly drafted players would typically start out, and the talent would spread to the higher levels as they advanced in their careers.
