Ed's mother-in-law passed away.

He will not being doing the broadcast tonight or for a little bit because he is at home in California. Rongey and Stone will be doing the game.

Sorry to hear and payers go out Farmio.
Yuck Rongey. Why couldn't they just throw Stone in with Hawk and DJ and run the audio from TV on the radio?

Rongey does a good job. Maybe we should say yuk to your crappy posts?

Nice idea.

Yuck Rongey.

I thought Rongey did a great job in the two times I heard him with Farmer. He sounded like a professional broadcaster unlike Singleton. I bet he and Stone will do just fine.

best wishes to farmio and his family, I remember my dad was at a IHSA football game one time and he heard a voice. He said he recognized that voice finally after 30 minutes. He was sitting near Ed Farmer! how funny

Separate radio sponsorships probably prevent that from happening "on the fly".

Prayers for the repose of the soul of Ed's mother-in-law. I was at the game tonight and heard the Rongey-Stone tandem from the 8th inning on. Chris could improve his diction a little bit.

Yikes. Thoughts and prayers for Ed and his family.

The Ranger did fine, a few flubs here and there (but there are maybe a handful of broadcasters who can call 9 innings of baseball without a single mis-spoken word.)

I haven't been very kind to Farmer about the quality of his PBP, but this goes beyond that sort of thing. Nothing but my sincerest condolences to Farmio's family.
