Planning a trip to St. Louis to see the new park. The last time I caught a Cardinals game, I was 16 and with my parents... So, what's there to do around the park before/after the game, and anyone have any particular favorite places to get sit? This new park has one of the most ridiculously complicated seating charts (http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/stl/ballpark/seating_pricing.jsp) I've ever seen.

I went to one game. I can't really recommend what to do pregame there. I would suggest drinking, and away from the stadium. Maybe hit up the Hill first if you can. They charge 8.50 for Bud Select if you pay with card. All beer is 7.50 if IRCC. They only have budlight, bud select, and budweiser I believe.

I remember there was a hooters close to the stadium, but it was packed when I went.

Just go to one of the bars near the joint. There are a lot. I'm going again for Cubs/Cards in a few weeks. I always enjoy St. Louis - nice little town. Brand new luxury casino is open, too - no more President for me!

There's no shortage of sports bars near Busch, especially just down the hill, and any of them will suffice. And pick me up one of those "Keep East St. Louis Beautiful" t-shirts while you're there. :redneck

The park itself is beautiful, but I'd recommend sitting anywhere with a skyline view. It goes without saying that anything you see happening on the field will be less than pretty.

I was there last year for a Cubs vs Cards game with two Cards fan and a Cubs fan. It was a fun time and we had amazing season ticket seats about 15th row on the 3rd base line. There are so many different kinds of seats there it is crazy.

Around the ball park there isn't much to do because the new ballpark village is not open (or is it?). But it is St. Louis and there is plenty to do if you go a little further north in the city or west towards that mall area thingy.

I was there last summer. It's nice park. We were in a suite which was very nice. I really liked how uncrowded that level was; I felt very comfortable letting my nephew go out into the concourse to the restroom by himself.

The thing I wasn't totally thrilled about though was if you changed the red awnings to purple, it was like being at Coors Field. HOK didn't go out of their comfort zone with this one. :D:

Ive been to 2 games there and the bleachers was probably the best experience I had. Alot like USCF in design, just with a few more bells and whistles, and the back being open to the street level. I wouldnt waste your time at Union Station. The Landing is allright, and ive never been to the Hill but heard its cool.

I've been to the new Busch Stadium and this it's real nice. If you can, be sure to take a stadium tour of the place if you're there during the day before the game. After the game, the main place to go is Mike Shannon's (http://www.shannonsteak.com/).

Some of the best italian food I've ever had has been on the hill, although it isn't near the stadium at all. If you have a car it's not far, thouhgh. Cunetto's is the largest and most popular place (and very good), but there are many others that are excellent.

Went last season and sat in the Redbird Club, Section 254, about $55.
Bigger and nicer than the club section at the Cell. Walked around and
enjoyed the Casino party porch in left field. Large bar with number of
TV's for about $42. Before the game, head to either Al Hrabosky's
or Paddy O's just south of the main gate. Both have the big beer garden
set-up. Mike Shannon's just outside the left wall is the place afterwards.
