Rich Harden, scheduled to start tomorrow, has been scratched (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/sfgate/detail?blogid=21&entry_id=25518) and may be looking at a DL stint.

Crap! He's supposed to be a two-start pitcher this week in my head-to-head league.

I looked everywhere I can think of looking and don't see ANYTHING about this - pro sports daily, espn and the A's website. Nothing!

That's the same link. I mean OTHER sources besides a blog. Seems like it would be bigger news.

As sure as the sun rises in the east, Rich Harden finds himself on the DL.

Another sign of spring: Joe Borowski blowing a save and losing the game in spectacular fashion.

How guys like this are continually trusted to win games is beyond me. At maximum he could be a setup guy. Farnsworthless is another one who gets chance after chance to lose games.

Didn't you miss out on the only start he will have in the 1st half on your fantasy team? :D:

But the Cubs are going to acquire Harden in a midseason deal, and he will be the No. 2 starter they need to make a World Series run.

Cubs fans would go ballistic if they picked up Harden. "World Series for sure" would be the cries from the Tribune. i love baseball in this respect, pitchers, no matter how beat up, injured, uneven they are, there will always be a fat contract and a stupid buyer out there in LaLa Land waiting to pick them up. By the way, is Mike Hampton having trouble counting his money because of his new found injury? Probably not.
