I have CC Sabathia on my fantasy team, and was surprised he pitched yesterday. The Indians have played the same amount of games as the White Sox. Was there a late decision or are they on a 4 man rotation?

My guess is that Eric Wedge is doing like most managers did until a few years ago. He's putting his front four starters on a five-day rotation and skipping his fifth starter when there are off-days.

Gotcha. That plan worked well for them yesterday, eh? :D:
(Figures it would happen. I always said my 5 man rotation for my fantasy league should be Sabathia, Verlander, Carmona, Santana when he was in the division and whomever the Royals have as their #1 this month and that would kill my fantasy stats but make it easier for the Sox.)

Skipping a 5th starter is fairly normal.
The impact is fine until guys get tired at the end of the season.
