Jerry said he pitched ... OK !?!?! (disbelief)--he does have a brain tumor!
he was barely about to get his fastball to 80 and his breaking balls were like 70 on the Colliseum gun

I don't know where you found that Manuel said he pitched ok but at least Parque knows he blew it:
"I lost this game for us,'' Parque said. "It's not what I needed, or wanted, or hoped to do. I left some balls up that they crushed. I do not feel good right now. (The Sox) deserved to win this game.''

it's time like these where the movie "major league" provides great comic relief....
teammate: those home runs wouldn't have been out in a lot of parks!
Charlie Sheen: name one.
i'm just extremely annoyed that we are now 1-3 against west coast teams, and we should at least be 3-1, if not 4-0. now all the nay sayers will be saying that the central is weak, and we'll fade as the year goes on. oh well, it's not like things were ever different.
we need an ace from burly-man. hopefully, the weather is nicer than it is here. 40 and raining all day....great.
