My only "prediction" is that I hope the Sox can put together a winning season by whatever means.
83-84 wins in this division, in this league, is a major improvement over last year. 11 or so games worth which is a lot!
It'll keep the attendance drop to a minimum which keeps the money rolling in, which increase their chances for talent in 2009.
I can also see Kenny making a move or two at the deadline to position himself better for the 2008 off season heading into 2009.
Anything can happen and if the Central had only one "power" team, I'd say 'maybe' on the Sox chances. That club expected to win it could have injuries or just a down year...but when you have two teams in Cleveland and Detroit, it's unrealistic to think both clubs are going to have down years or be hit by numerous injuries.
Like I said, I'll be happy with a 3rd place finish and a winning record. Naturally I'd like better but like Kenny says, 'it is what it is.'

Palehose:
I didn't make any other predictions because I don't care about any other team but the White Sox.
I stated what I think will happen. That certainly won't be good enough to make the post season in the brutal American League so how any other club does and what happens in late October is meaningless to me.
If the Sox aren't in the post season I simply don't care or even bother to watch.
