just for clarification here, is it pronounced Alex-ee or Alex-ay Ramirez. I've heard it both ways.

It's gotta be the latter. That's the way I've always heard that spelling.

That's the only pronunciation I've heard. :dunno:

I had a TA a couple years ago with the same name, and that's how he pronounced it...so I'm sticking with it.
