If you're looking for an optimistic view of our farm system, here it is (http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080315&content_id=360494&vkey=news_milb&fext=.jsp). Says we have strengths in pitching (does having a lot of it count?), and the middle infield.

I'm very excited to see Shelby (who is being moved back to 2B) and, even more so, Silverio develop.

I'm pumped because I got Silverio's autograph when I was down in Tucson this week. If he turns out to be a stud, I'll be like the 1st person outside of his homeland to have his autograph :gulp:

Well, with Shelby, Richar, Getz, and Rameriz we sure as hell have a lot of future options at second base.

And hopefully after this year, we can start talking about Ramirez, Silverio, and Sergio Miranda as shortstop standouts.

Anyone who calls Dewon Day's potential as a bullpen stalwart is a questionable article in my book.

That being said I think Shelby was a great pick and looks to be our best positional prospect.

The Sox have good outfield depth in A ball. I'm glad they moved Shelby back to second. I just hope he hits at second the way he hit in centerfield.
