Ah, tabloid journalism. I read the article. He doesn't seem too cuckoo to me.

He's not crazy sounding, but he is fired up. Boston needs to get him out of there. I still don't see him fitting in here too well. If Boston will take next to nothing for him to shut him up, and soak up a mil of his salary then maybe.

I agree -- I can't see the Red Sox keeping him around and letting him sound off, albeit mildly. The situation reminds me of the proverbial quarterback quandry that pits the incumbent against the back-up and generates lots of tabloid press.

Yeah, I wouldn't call that lashing out. He sounds a little scared though, I think he probably knows he's not going to win the job back. It's good to be passionate but just shut up and play, dude.

Cry me a ****in river - what a baby! From what I saw at the end of last season, the BoSox would be stupid not to give Ellsbury the majority of starts.
