Clemens is beyond screwed. It's too bad the arrogant jagbag can't ask Al Capone how being investigated by the IRS worked out for him. :happyguy:

Roger should also have a little talk with someone else who tried to lie their way out

Roger will look good wearing stripes, and this time they won't be pinstripes.

Clemens’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, said he would not ask Clemens about any connection to Kelley. He said he found the question about any possible relationship “despicable.” Hardin told reporters, “You are on a witch hunt.”

Good decision Rusty. Better not to know that way you can't get accused of suborning perjury if you are ever forced to question Roger about it in a court of law.

Seriously, his lawyer is a disaster. He continually attacks the personal integrity of anyone investigating Clemens, which only makes it worse for his client; career investigators or prosecutors obviously resent being called hacks in public and it will only intensify their efforts to pin something on Clemens. When a person's defense rests on calling everyone else in the world a liar, it's pretty weak.

Couldn't agree more. Clemens would be in better shape if he hired Lionel Hutz/Miguel Sanchez.

Roger's continued bad press and idiot lawyer are making for more copies of Jose's book to be sold on opening day. Who's the dumb one again?
