the mendoza line.

When ever you do, kenny manuel, don't give clayton a day off. Might hurt the confidence of this young 10+ year veteran.

The only good thing here is that we lead the league in double plays. I have to give him and Ray some credit here. As long as he bats above 200, I have no beef.

Sox lead the league in DP's when Valentin and Durham were the combo. Also, Jose has started more DP's than any other 3rd baseman in all of baseball...

Yep, just as I finished the post above, he hit his third homer of the year.

That's a pretty good total for him so far. He hit 9 all of last year and in 1999 and 2000 had career highs of 14.

The Tribe announcer had jusy mentioned that with the wind blowing in from left it would take a mighty clout to hit a hr. The sound of shock in his voice when Clayton hit the next pitch out was too funny.
