He got signed in the off season as a non roster invitee. I'm just glad he didn't link himself into the bathroom and miss the game.

I saw him launch a HUGE homerun onto the sidewalk in front of the warehouse at Camden Yards in 2000 (or was it 2001?). The ball in the sidewalk is still something I go visit before each game now.
