5 Paragraphs in, it says that Joey Cora is filling in for manager Ozzie Guillen who is, "with the team in Mexico." :?:

What the hell does that mean???

I read and re-read that part over and over again trying to figure out what it meant and I just have absolutely NO CLUE!!!

Can anyone figure out what the hell it means?!?!?

The Sox "B" team is playing a game in Mexico. I read about it, but I don't have the details on it. Maybe someone will be so kind to provide linkage, but you can take my word for it.

They played two games against the D-Backs today. One was broadcast on mlb radio by the D-Backs announcers, the other game (in Mexico) wasn't.

Which game was played in Mexico? Because in the 7-6 loss, Uribe started at 2B but was replaced by an "O Guillen". Does anybody know if this was one of Ozzie's sons, or Ozzie himself, or perhaps an unrelated Guillen?

It was Ozzie's son, who was drafted by the Sox last year.

Oney is listed as a non-roster invitee according to the Sox website and is listed as an infielder. I'd bet it was him.

The 7-6 game was the one in Mexico. I was wondering the same thing though. The box score I saw only showed "Guillen" as replacing Uribe, and then I couldn't get anymore info on him. If there's an "O" before his name, that'd have to be Oney Guillen right? (btw, he was 0-2 w/ 2 Ks)
