Fred Mitchell wrote about the 1983 Lee Elia conniption fit in his Trib column today.

I don't this part is widely known, but Mitchell said that the immediate trigger was the fact left field bleacherites dumped beer on Larry Bowa and Keith Moreland as they walked toward the clubhouse.
