Home Run Derby's at it again, this time with a trip through the AL Central.

The White Sox have an appealing Interleague schedule (http://homerderby.com/archives/1891), seeing as they miss the San Diego Padres and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Plus, even though the AL Central is paired with the NL West, the Sox play half their Interleague Schedule against the NL Central.

Is MLB trying to promote a White Sox-Pirates rivalry?

I just realized something, correct me if I am wrong.

The White Sox will never play in Shea Stadium. We only played the Mets once, and at home.

I suppose we technically could have played there when the Yankees moved there for a season?

Correct. I got my info from a shoddy website. The Mets played the Sox in June of '02 but it was at our park. I thought we did play one series in Shea but I could be mistaken.

Yes - the White Sox played 12 games at Shea Stadium in 1974 & 1975 when the Yankees played there.

The Sox also played as a visiting team at the Polo Grounds from 1913 to 1922, winning a championship there in 1917. They also played at Hilltop Park in New York. However, they never played at Ebbets Field, the Dodgers having found a temporary home in the Los Angeles Coliseum when it came time for them to host the Sox.
