Hahahaha nice. If you combine it with a sweet sox logo or theme, you got my money.....as long as they're reasonably priced, of course :D:

I am trying to figure our if this guy is spamming here. The last thing I want to commemorate a win is a W flag. To me that is anti White Sox.

Edit: And if you are not a spammer then I apologize and welcome, but I dont think this flag thing will take off.

Sox fans generally don't look with favor on adopting Cubs "traditions."

btrain929

If were coming up with Sox inventions...

I think as a giveaway for some of the games, they need to hand out long white socks with the white sox symbol on it, to use like the rally monkey or rally towels. I'd buy a few....

not spamming, just want to show my sox pride toooooo!
I live in th 60610 area and want to fly a W flag on days when the sox win.
Granted last year it would have only flown 72 times.

The important thing is it would fly at least 15 more times this year, hopefully more than that.

Please do not fly a W flag when the Sox win, the last thing our fan base needs is to be confused with the sheep up on the north side.

I like your thinking here but it just will not fly with Sox fans, go ahead and try to market the flags on OD, I will love to hear how successful your campaign was.

I remember that too. I think I only did it for one game a while back. It would be a cheap promotion, and something to unify all the fans during big innings, rallies, and late in the game.

Somebody email Brooks for me....

They had a promotion in 2005-I believe opening day-where they handed out White Sox rally socks to the first so many fans. I never felt inclined to wave it that day and once I got home,I put it in my closet where it has been ever since. But maybe we can add this promotion to the "just like in 2005" list of things to do in order to attain success this year.

I have a long white sock bearing a Sox logo, along with an American National Bank logo higher up. It was a giveaway at a Sox game sometime between June 2000 and June 2003. I don't remember when Bank One became Chase, but the Bank One logo is on it too, as American National was a Bank One Company at the time. I was visiting my mother at the time. When she saw what they gave away at the ballpark, she asked why they didn't give me two socks.

As for flags, you could get a 2005 World Series championship banner. They probably do sell those.

Never bring a case thinking it will last the week because it will be gone by the next day.
