To put it lightly.

An arrest warrant has been issued to Spiezio on 6 charges.

An arrest warrant has been issued by the Irvine Police Department for Scott Spiezio on six charges stemming from a Dec. 30 incident.
The warrant alleges driving under influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, hit and run, aggravated assault, assault and battery. Spiezio was on the restricted list for a time last season because of substance abuse problems.

Didnt his grandfather play for Sox years ago ? I think he is originally from Morris area---might be wrong.

It was Scott's dad, Ed, who played for the Sox in 1972. He took over at third base after Bill Melton fell off a ladder and suffered a season-ending injury.

I don't think he ever graduated. I had classes with his ex-sister-in-law at U of I.

I'm getting real sick of the garbage coming from St. Loo the last 2 years. Maybe if DeWitt can pony up some cash for real talent, Jockety and Mole wouldn't have to settle for washed up crackheads and steroid abusers.

I sat next to him in Econ 101. Nice guy - just wasn't destined to be an economist.
