According to the Sox homesite, the game will be on MLB.TV at 2:05. If you've got the full package, from last year, you should be good to watch it.

They're not doing a free trial?

Might be, I don't know. Just noticed it was on and felt I would share.

The Sox site doesn't seem to imply that, but you can click on the link at game time and find out.

We should know a little after 11AM - there is an early game (Pit) scheduled for MLB.TV. Can someone who had it last year tell us if it is indeed on MLB.TV (free or not) ?

According to that link, the Pit game doesn't start for another hour.

Is MLB TV on only computers or can bars pick it up if they subscribe ?
IF so Are there any bars around chicago you know carry MLB TV?
I get out at 3 and would like to watch it.

MLB.TV is a computer based video feed. Most bars won't get it because you need special connections to then feed it to a TV.

Computers

Technically you could hook a computer to a TV, but I don't see any bars doing that, probably all just have Extra Innings

MLB.TV is comp only, but they get their feeds usually from one of the teams that are broadcasting the game which in this case (I assume) would be the Rockies, in rare cases they have their own cameras there and broadcast the game using one of the teams radio broadcasters.

So I doubt any bars would have it.

Here's a question that makes no sense to me at all. If I remember correctly the Hawks, Bulls, Sox and Cubs each own 25% of Comcast Sports correct? If so why can't they show each of the Sox and Cubs spring training games? Don't get me wrong I love poker and sometimes watch it on tv but today at 2:00 I would prefer baseball to poker.

Near as I can tell, Pit game isn't being covered on MLB.TV. That link in the scoreboard takes me to the MLB.TV sign up page. I renewed, so Ill look later to see if other games are being covered.

Has anyone with the SoxPrideClub Premium membership tried to listen to a game today that is on now? I tried two different audio feeds and got this error:

Are these archived, so that I can watch the game after work? If this is the case, I'll pay the 14.95 to see the games this month, then during the season my DirecTV Extra Innings will kick in!

Good question. They did that two years ago - not sure why they stopped. Maybe Reifert or Boyer know. Maybe even a WSCR simulcast?
