Does anyone know whether I'll need MLB Radio to listen to a radio stream of preseason games? I seem to remember them not being blacked out in March.

There was a list..and some spring training games are broadcasted.

I wasn't asking which ones are being broadcasted, I was asking whether the ones that are being broadcasted will have the internet stream blacked out on 670thescore.com, as they always do during the regular season.

I'd assume so, unfortunately.

I've been looking all over for this "list." I'm trying to find if I can hear the game tomorrow.

Well the game is definitely on the radio tomorrow as today B&B mentioned that they would be on air after the Sox game. However, like many of you, I can only listen to the stream in the office. I'm really hoping its on. The alternative of listening to "Best of Score" (most of which I've already heard or involves Mike Murphy....who I can't stand) does not appeal to me at all.

I will enjoy the game under the bright 81 degree sunshine Wednesday on my XM radio between my day jobs!!!:bandance:

oh yea...also sometimes if you leave the stream "on" from the morning shows, the games will come through instead of the "covered" score shows. I've had that happened several times where I left the stream window "open" from the morning shows and then heard the Sox game on....!

Gameday audio is cheap.

They use to give it away if you try 4 weeks of Sports Illustrated.

There are plenty of times when I get through on MLB.com with buying anything, especially in past springs, so might as well give that a shot too if all else fails

I know they were available last year because I got yelled at for listening to one at work becuase it was lame to listen to spring training games.

You need MLB audio.

The Score is not allowed to broadcast games online.

jenn's right you need gameday audio to listen to Sox games over the internet b/c MLB owns the rights. If you ask me it is worth it to have gameday since it is only $15 for the whole year. I just turned my player on now and they are already streaming current Score programming so it looks like todays game will be available.

MLB.TV has links for audio and video streaming. Last year all of spring training for all teams was free (not every game is broadcast, though, as you know from real TV).

I assume they'll do that this year. I mean, its spring training, they'll make more money with the "free advertising" converting people into paid users for the regular season, than actually trying to charge people.

They don't appear to have a free stream.

Looks like the Sox Pride subscriptions have not hit home at mlb.com yet, as I get a message that I need to subscribe to hear today's game. Thanks. Thanks a lot.
