At least his wrist is not as bad as it could be.

Mike "wild thing" Macdougal at it again.

Maybe Crede can replace Boras with Aaron.

The Crede-should-net-us-a-starting-player crowd might lower their expectations from Alex Rodiguez to merely Robinson Cano now.

At the moment they're still holding out for Chase Utley.

At least all we gave up to get MacDougal is a first round pick and the Royals second-best prospect.

He can't leave town fast enough for me.

Good call, must not be a big fan of all the trade talks of himself and Crede

Good thing we waited for him to prove himself healthy before getting what we could for him.

I'm not gonna get to bent out of shape over this. Despite what people keep saying around here, even if he played healthy and great all spring he wasn't bringing anything significant back in return.

Um, he has a bruised hand. He probably won't even miss any games for this. This doesn't answer or change any questions about his back.

That's funny. The article said he was day to day. Not "probably won't miss any games." When is a guy every day to day and then ends up playing immediately? Never, really.

Like I said before, I don't think Crede has any value anyway. But everyday he doesn't play is a day he isn't showcasing. So if you think he might be able to build significant value, then this is very bad.

Didn't the Sox give them Tyler Lumsden?

That means on any other team he'd be their 27th best prospect...

Not like KC just produced Alex Gordon and Butler or anything.

They're aren't any games until next Wednesday.

Didn't the Sox give them Tyler Lumsden?

We gave them Lumsden and Daniel Cortes. Cortes was the head-shaker at the time. He was the one teenage pitcher we had in our system who had some upside. We threw him into a deal for a setup guy down the stretch of a race we were not playing nearly well enough to have a prayer in. Terrible deal. Then it was compounded by Macdougal imploding last year.

And just because the Royals have graduated their best prospects, don't denigrate Cortes too much. The kid has a chance. Let's put it this way: He's better than anyone we have left.
