Unfortunately I am too. But BUt i am only doing it because I promised my dad some tickets for the May 1st game when he is in town. If I am lucky I wont have to pay the Ticketbastard prices.

This post is only slightly less disturbing than the one announcing your attendance at the Spice Girls concert in Vegas.

I just saw them in Chicago Friday night. I was right next to the stage. Even better!

What if you're only wearing it so you can fleece Cubs fans for large sums of money and use that money to buy Sox tickets?

I'm not wearing the band, but I will be opening a lot of VWR windows when they go on sale.

I was actually in a photo on the front of the Trib in 1998 or 1999 as the first person to purchse tickets at Wrigley, decked out in Sox gear. They asked me which games I got, and I was like "The games the Sox are playing here. Why would I want any other ones?" I think I actually got a St. Louis game, too, to see McGwire.

In any event, I don't feel the need to lie about getting in line for Cubs tickets. If I get lucky enough, I'll get the Sox games, and then games against the Mets in April and the Cards in August where the Sox play, respectively, the Yanks and Red Sox on the same days, since a group of 9 of us are going to do all-day baseball those two days.

I probably went to 3 non-Sox Cubs games last year. You know, it still is baseball (sort of), and a fun time.

Control N works if you tap it when the refresh count get to about 1. It will only open 1 extra window but if you do it after every countdown, you can get a bunch of windows going. I use Internet Explorer so I can't tell you if that works in Firefox or not.

The same thing happened to me several years ago. The problem is they have no incentive to fix the system, because the games will sell out anyway. Hey, that's kind of like the inherent problem with the Cubs ballclub!

The difference is, that on the cubs ticket day we have 200 people at one of our illinois locations wasting their time for 2 hours opening up 7 to 20 virtual windows and impacting traffic and our business at that location.

You clearly have never dealt with sensitive employees. Their case wouldn't be about which websites he is blocking but his motives and intentions. This would clearly illustrate that he does indeed play favorites and would overlook certain issues while coming down hard on other issues. It takes away from his credibility and he would be in question with every decision he makes/is responsible for making. What is the point of having him around? Whether he is an IT guy, a call taker, etc.
