What he lacks in athletic ability, he makes up for in terrifying intensity.

All told, it seems that Minnesota will be fighting with Kansas City for fourth place. People can say what they want about the Sox offseason (and they will) but Minnesota has lost major members of their team and Joe Nathan could be next.

yeah, but I've counted them out one two many times. Minnesota can put anybody out there and they'll succeed. Nick Punto hit like .290 for them in 2006.

Livan Hernandez can start dusting off his trophy case for his AL Cy Young.

Looking at the list, the big winners are the Sox and Detroit.

Miller has very scary potential. I'm very happy he is out of the AL Central. I'll take Dontrelle Willis next season, over another 4 years of Miller.

Found this blurb about Miller on Wiki:

Andrew Miller is widely regarded as the best pitcher in the 2006 draft which was laden with quality pitchers. His pitches include a mid to upper 90s fastball, a late-breaking slider and a change-up. His development should progress nicely in the major leagues after he acquires a better change-up and location to his pitches. Due to his height (6,6") some see him as a future Randy Johson type pitcher.

Just seeing him pitch too (although the Sox did well against him) you could see him putting it together.

I am not looking forward to Miguel Cabrera in the Central at all.

Between the Twins losing Santana, Hunter, Garza, and Tyner I think you gotta say they'll be weaker next season. And K.C. has no Mike Sweeney, making them less of a nuisance.

I like Cleveland's bullpen upgrade, but with the addtion of Swisher and Cabrera to the Sox lineup and Linebrink with Dotel, I think these two teams are very evenly matched. Detroit will be a powerhouse, but I still like the Sox chances at the Wild Card, and possibly keeping pace with the Tigers and Indians this season.
