I am sure Yankees fans are ecstatic over this

This has to be the biggest free agent bust of all time

Not as long as Mike Hampton walks among us.

Darren Dreifort and Chan Ho Park also demand to be counted.

Yeah, that was an all time bust.

I'll admit that I wanted the Sox to sign him at the time he was a FA.

I did also but you never if he signed with the Sox maybe he doesn't fold under pressure or throw his arm out like he did in NY.

If I'm the Yankees I'd shut him down now to avoid any more medical bills.

If Zito doesn't get his act together soon, we may be mentioning his name along with Pavano, Dreifort, and Park pretty soon.

Jaret Wright of the same free agent class to the Yankees is up there.

Laime Navarro belongs in the team picture. At the time he was signed, this pile of mule dung was among the highest paid pitchers in MLB. Unfortunately, he never got injured which would have added some wins to the Sox just by virtue of his absence in '97 and could have prevented the White Flag Trade. He was such a combo of a jerk and incompetent that I actually wanted him to suffer a serious injury.

At least you didn't dedicate your screen name to him like this guy (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=3901)

Matt Clement is up there too. I really wanted to Sox to make a push at him too. Hindsight is sometimes a wonderful thing.

To be fair, Matt Clement was never the same after having a line drive riochet off his forehead.

True. But at the $/inning ratio, he had to be up there as a big bust.
