Howdy.........

Will Grandstand stitch numbers on a jersey that was not purchased there???

I got a sweet deal on a White Sox BP jersey, but I'd like to have some numbers on it.

Thanks much!

I don't know. Nubers tend to be pretty expensive these days, especially when their stitched on.....

Yes. Actually, they don't do the jerseys there, they send them away. Either way, you can get it customized there.

Yes they will. I called them last year to get a quote on stitching Fisk and 72 on a jersey that I had and I think they quoted me around $60 to do it.

Yes.

I've had them do it on a jersey I bought from MLB.Com.

Good work.

If you're in the western burbs, ProSports Jerseys in Woodridge will also do the same. It was $60 to do up a Pierzynski, including both sets of numbers. I'm sure they all send them to the same company.

Anyhow, both places have excellent work.

I'm actually in Norridge on the North side by O'hare airport.

I'm planning on driving down to Grandstand on Friday....

Unless I'm mistaken the batting practice jersey is numbers only so it should be less than $60:smile:

You will get a great job from Grandstand and yes they will take a jersey that was not purchased at their store.

Are they that expensive? They are? I didn't know they're that expensive!

(A little subtle (or not so subtle!) humor for grammar-philes out there.)

(A little subtle (or not so subtle!) humor for grammar-philes out there.)I got it. I had all I could do to not jump in, but I've sworn off pointing out spelling errors, even in posts that point out someone else's spelling errors.
