...how many of you muted the audio of TV-44 and turned on WMAQ-AM (670) so that you could continue to hear Harry & Jimmy through the middle three innings?

Never. Remember, back then "mute button" meant walking up to the set an dturning the volume control knob all the way to left.

I did all the time. I would sit outside with my dad and listen on the picnic table.:)

99% of the time.
