So say Rosenthal. The two sides are differing on one player.

Hmm...it would be a good trade for the M's if it happened.

Mariners could be very tough in 2008. They may push the Angels pretty hard in the AL West. I think they were 87-75 last year, and with the added pitching, that could be enough.

A rotation of Felix and Bedard as your 1-2 would be pretty good.

I think they would push the Angels but I still think the Halos have the better lineup top to bottom. Richie Sexson has never been that reliable, other then to bat below .250. But adding that pitching would jump them right up there

That might be, depending on how it plays out, of course, one of the top 3 1-2 punches in both leagues.

I was hoping Bedard would go to the NL if he was traded. Oh well, at least it won't be in the AL Central. I agree that this definitely makes the M's much better if the deal goes down. Bedard will be going to a very pitcher friendly ballpark as well in Safeco. If he stays healthy, an 18-20 win season wouldn't surprise me.

It's a good trade for both sides. I like the pairing of Jones with Markakis.

I'm actually going to miss going to Safeo Field. Sorry to say I have been to more games at the Safe then at the Cell!
