New this year, the two-day pass allows fans access to both the Saturday and Sunday sessions of SoxFest. The pass costs $70 and replaces the individual day pass, which in previous years allowed access to only one session. The two-day pass can be purchased online at whitesox.com and through phone lines at (866) SOX-GAME.
A total of four two-day passes can be purchased per household. Passes will only be available for pick up at SoxFest will call (the Palmer House Hilton concierge desk), beginning on Friday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m.

I might still go this year, but $70 still seems pretty high compared to past soxfests, even though this does give you a two day pass.

I don't care to go for two days. There's hardly enough to do for one day. Guess I'm screwed.

$70 bucks is way too steep for me. Looks like I'll be missing the fest again this year. I usually only like to go for one day. For my wife and I to go it will cost $140 + CTA transportation to the hotel and back ($8) + lunch ($20), I'm looking at a $170 day. I'd rather spend that money and go to several Sox games during the '08 season. They are really pricing the average guy out of the convention these days. :(: I used to go to Sox Fest every year when it was $15 over at the Hyatt. It is fun but it just isn't worth it to me to spend $170 on it.

I'll probably pass this year. The only reason I go is for the Q & A with Kenny and $70 is pretty steep just for that, although it should be pretty interesting.

I agree Mike. There is usually just enough to keep you occupied for the whole day. You go to the town hall meeting, you look around the dealer room, sit in a seminar or two and you go home. I don't have the patience to wait 2 hrs in an autograph line like some people so I usually skip that porton of the fest.

Uh who does that? You get a bracelet and get on with the rest of your day. I have never sat in line waiting for autographs. If it is a signing session from 4-6 I will walk in around 5ish and wait about 10 min.

If there are no one day passes, I guess I'll be skipping this year's Sox Fest. That sucks, becuase I like going, but I don't want to go for two days (I can't really afford it right now, either).
