View Full Version : What would you want the most in return for trading Crede?

With all due respect to Joltin' Joe Crede, it seems as if his days are numbered on the SouthSide. Our corner OFs seem set with Quentin and Dye. This leaves Field set for 3rd, for better or worse. With the assumption that were are going to trade him, what would you want in return? As much as I'd like a leadoff CF, I think getting the best prospects available for him would be great. How high a ceiling that would be in unknown. If we could get someone from an organizations' top 5 or top 10 during Joe's Spring Training Showcase would be quite the steal.

I would like to get some major league bulpen help but it won't happen with no one really knowing how Crede's back is so much likely case is we get prospects, low end most likely.

I would like players without chronic back trouble.

1. All nine AL Gold Glove winners from last year
2. Every batter who finished with a BA higher than .320 with 200+ at-bats.
3. All middle relief guys with a 2007 ERA below 0.90 with 90+ innings.
4. More shirts for the Chevy Pride Crew to toss into the stands.
5. Peace on Earth and goodwill towards all people.

Heck, I would take the above in return for trading Pablo Ozuna or Ehren Wasserman.

Something tells me Kenny will settle for something less than that, however.

I'll second that

Yeah, I'm thinking he'll say the White Sox have no control over how many shirts Chevy buys for the fans.

Where's the "how about we don't trade him" option?
