Glad to have you back in the AL Central, Miguel!!! Floyd and Danks look that much better at the bottom of the rotation when we play KC.

Our running game will look that much worse, though. Remember that game last year where Olivo almost single-handedly ended our inning by picking off and throwing out our runners? I always loved that cannon of his.

Pork:

To have a running game doesn't it require guys who can actually steal bases? or rather more then one guy (Owens) who can steal a base?

There were more than a handful of us they would've taken him over Tubby Hall as the backup. Olivo has better splits against LHP and can actually throw out runners.

Quentin, Ramirez, Cabrera, and Richar...:dunno:

Want a real fast lineup? Throw Ozuna and Owens out there.

Seriously, it's getting old. Leave the guy alone.

5 or 6 new people signed up as members of WSI since the previous time he posted his admiration for Toby Hall. He's just making sure everyone is up to speed.

OEO:

Quentin is an unknown who hasn't been able to stay healthy. Ramirez may or may not even make the Sox roster.

So that leaves Owens, maybe Richar (don't know how many bases he has stolen) and Cabrera.

Hardly makes one forget when the Sox had guys like Aparicio, Fox, Landis, Busby, Minoso and Rivera or Agee, Buford, McCraw and Weis or even Johnson, Guillen and Calderon does it?

I'm reminded of Ozzie's quote at the end of the season about not having to rely on hitting 200 home runs as the only way to score runs.

So far it still looks to be more of that same ilk.

Olivo had enough value to help KW in getting Freddy Garcia here. Maybe the White Sox can add Jeremy Reed to help the outfield situation (is he even playing baseball anymore?)

I've got a feeling he's gonna become a Sox killer in retaliation for trading him.

Maybe with his arm, definately not his bat.

Steady diet of curve balls coming Miguel's way.

Just watch him bat .300 with 25+ homers and 100 RBI's while throwing out everyone.:D:

Crap. I was hoping the Sox would sign Olivo to be the backup catcher and would package Hall and Uribe for a minor league batting tee.

I think a team would on take Uribe and hall for a used minor league batting tee.
