This will break the streak of having the defending World Champion kick off the season on Sunday Night Baseball. If it means having one less Red Sox game on ESPN, I'm all for it. Besides, it's not like the Nats appear on national television regularly anyway.

Well, for what it's worth, the Red Sox will still open the MLB season, albeit in Japan.

Can't wait for the new park to open. Just drove by it the other day, it looks nice, typical 'DC' architecture, not some faux retro look like so many other new ones.

The park looks like the new stadium that you could create for your team in MVP 2005.

I did not know interleague play starts with Opening Day.
