I'm sorry if this has been brought up elsewhere, but I haven't seen it.
I know his name seems insignificant, but it has been discussed on local sports radio today.
It's pretty funny because he's one of the people behind getting Steve Stone and Chip Caray removed from the booth in 2004. He's the one who was listening in the clubhouse and called up to the booth to chastise the announcers for not supporting the team. On a subsequent plane ride he sought out Stone and angrily confronted him about his criticism.
It's funny now how a guy like that could get a local broadcasting legend fired, possibly because of a roid rage. Dusty certainly let the players run the show. This obviously won't be brought up in the local papers.
