The last few years MLB has been coming out with the DVD set of the post-season. Now while they never bothered with the ALDS you still had the LCS along with the World Series.

Not anymore it appears.

As a Red Sox fan I sure want to see the Cleveland series again more than the Rockies.

Now it says 8 DVD's in the set so maybe the Indians series ( at least the wins are included, but they don't say so )

With all due respect. (and before anyone says anything the thread title makes it appear the subject matter could be something actually 'important' which is why I looked at it.)

WHO CARES.

As a WHITE SOX FAN I could care less what's on the Red Sox championship DVD.

So you do care then? I mean, if you could care less than that means....

Well, hopefully this could affect us in the near future. :D:

And I'm kinda upset MLB's beloved Red Sox get this kind of extra game treatment, when our Sox only got the final games of the ALCS and ALDS in our jumbo DVD box set.

I'd love to be able to see the TV broadcast of the Game 1 annihiliation of Boston (which I went to) and all 4 complete game wins vs. the Angels in that 2005 DVD set.

:whocares

We only got Game 5 of the ALCS.

You are getting Games 5-7 of the ALCS, all WS games and a bonus DVD. Must be rough buying two World Championship box sets the past four years.

No but you would care in the White Sox DVD didn't have the Anaheim series

It doesn't. It only has Game 5.

It doesn't say that it has the ALCS. For all I know it the other discs have Paperlbon dancing....

Boston may have won Game 7 in a blowout but if Joel Skinner doesn't screw up and Lofton scores to tie it in the 7th this might well be an Indians DVD

Wow, Lip... Fenway starting a thread about the Red Sox? Unprecedented.

I was bummed that the 2005 set only had the last games of the ALDS & ALCS also. I was really looking forward to being able to watch game 2 of the ALCS over and over:wink:

He wants the entire ALCS released on DVD. The 2005 White Sox got one ALCS game. I don't remember us crying about it.

The MLB set will only be 8 discs, but a 20 disc set will be released soon containing Fever Pitch 2 and all the other ridiculous Red Sox love fest movies that are sure to be released in the coming months.

I would be happy with just Game 7 of the ALCS but there is no indication that is included.

Maybe you're getting the ALCS Games 5, 6, and 7 along with the World Series games- those were the key games for the Red Sox this postseason anyway.

I hope so...I really don't want the World Series video that came out as I couldn't stomach the narrator Matt Damon

In 8 discs? I bet it is.

I'm with the others in guessing that it's games 5-7 of the ALCS and all 4 of the WS.

Same here. Luckily, I taped the games when they replayed them in December of 05. :bandance:

I'll put your mind at ease.

Look closely at this picture.

The first 3 discs are red. When I enlarged the picture, I can actually read the words on the side. They say 2007 American League Championship Series Game 5, 2007 American League Championship Series Game 6, 2007 American League Championship Series Game 7.

The next 4 discs are blue. 2007 World Series Game 1, 2007 World Series Game 2, 2007 World Series Game 3, 2007 World Series Game 4.

The last one all I came make out is BONUS DVD.

Now quick :whiner: about something that didn't even happen...

Dear God! You are getting games 5-7. Blow up the picture on the site and look at the DVDs in the set.

per amazon.com

Set contains complete ALCS Games 5, 6, and 7 versus the Cleveland Indians, and all four World Series games against the Colorado Rockies.

I, for one, am looking forward to Fenway's next whine:

"They make us play 81 games away from Fenway Park in 2008. They should really let us play all 162 games at Fenway to cut down on the fans' and team's travel costs. Also, those other cities don't really appreciate us."
