Ok enough of the hype, enough of the scouting reports. Jon Rauch has good stuff and good control. The rest is all mental.......hopefully hes a winner.

We had an 8 run lead and he took Rauch out ??!! It is not like he has thrown a lot of pitches either... :?:

It was a good move. They asked JM the same question after the game. First of all he already said he only wanted Rauch to throw 80 pitches. He was at 89 at the time. He also said Rauch had lost his command, which is true, and he wanted him to leave the game with a positive spin on his outing. Give the guy a break.

Well, I was at the game, and after getting behind the first 2, he fought back o 3-2 against Burks, I beleive before walking him...

up by eight, you gotta give the guy a chance to get the win. It's not like Osuna came in lights out. Jerry wants to give these kids a positive, but the only thing I got out of it was a negative.

On the other side, Jon has only pitched 1 1/3 innings in 13 games...so I'm sure he's not in top endurance form...

ditto from me on letting Jon get the win, but who did get it?

Rauch did lose his control and kind of strugled with it all game long, he made some great pitches when he had to and the D made some nice stabs in the OF to help him out. I think JM was afraid Rauch would let the Tribe back in the game so he went to the pen early.
