I have read in the Hunter to LAD thread that Eric Bedard would be a good idea. www.MLBTradeRumors.com (http://www.MLBTradeRumors.com) reports that Ian Snell might be available in Pittsburgh. While Baltimore might be trying to start over (it is November after all), they also understand the value of talent and would charge a fair price for Bedard. However, if there's one thing that could be learned from the North Side, it's that Pittsburgh is one of the worst at giving away talent this side of the mid-90s Blackhawks. Any thoughts on landing Snell and maybe a Jose Castillo or Freddy Sanchez??

I would be on cloud 9 if we could land Ian Snell. That kid's a bulldog with really good stuff and good pitching instincts. I'd be really surprised if Pittsburgh were actually dangleing him. MLB traderumors.com is not exactly a reputable source.
