NEW YORK—Start the bidding on Yankees bug spray. Who could forget New York rookie Joba Chamberlain getting doused with pest repellant during the American League playoffs last month? Well, here's your chance to own an authentic bottle.
A can of bug spray used in the Yankees' dugout when those tiny midges swarmed Cleveland's Jacobs Field will be among the items up for bid in a Major League Baseball auction of memorabilia from the 2007 postseason.
Surely, it's the perfect gift this holiday season.

I am sure there are a million Red Sox Nationeers who would love a chance to bid thousands on Schilling's bloody jock.

No, I didn't make a typo.

Is there anything MLB won't sell? Sure, DVDs of old games, ya know, stuff people might actually WANT.

I want a Carl Everett autographed and blessed Bible for Channukah. Also, make me an Ed Farmer doll. He must got off on a tangent about St. Rita and golf during half the duration of any broadcast and he must mention a homerun could change the outcome of a game every time a Sox player is at bat and the team is behind. MLB, MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Anyone else see the new Derek Jeter 2008 All-Star Game bobblehead? I realize that next year's game will be played at Yankee stadium, but isn't it a little presumptious to give Jeter a spot on the team? I would post a link, but I don't want to contribute to the sale of this piece of crap.

This isn't like the moron, where we know where to look. This needs to be seen to be believed, namely because I don't believe you.

No, but there are search engines. I typed in "2008 all-star Jeter bobblehead" and found several places to buy them, including the CBS sports store and MLB.com shop - New York Yankees. Twenty bucks.
