Last year's spring training schedule was released on Nov. 1, so I have been looking for the '08 schedule with no luck so far. I did come across this site:

http://www.springtrainingonline.com

Where it compiles partial schedules for each team based on the release of schedules by other teams. It also mentions that there is a tentative proposal for unknown teams to play some exhibition games in China on March 15-16, and that's why so many teams have not released their schedules yet. So that brings us to the White Sox partial schedule:

http://www.springtrainingonline.com/teams/chicago_white_sox_3.htm

There's a big gap, March 12-21, where no other teams with schedules out so far, have the Sox on their schedules. I hope for personal reasons (possible trip there week of the 17th) and team reasons (who needs them to endure two 14-hour flights so close to the season starting?) that the Sox do not get roped into this.

According to ESPN, it's the Dodgers and Padres going to China.

I'm not really diggin this schedule. I was hoping to catch at least one Sox vs. Rox game but they all fall on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Not the ideal day when I don't want to take a ton of time off work.

I guess I'll figure something out though.

Come to Chicago the weekend of June 13-15. Those games will count.

The March 20 game must be against the A's, not the Dodgers. They're not out here yet. Only 9 games out of Tucson. It's quite obvious why they want to move.

The Dodgers are playing against the Padres in China, and then coming back and finishing spring training in Arizona. Where exactly, I don't know, but I would assume the schedule is right.

That seems like a great reason not to move out of Tucson.

I notice that the last Friday-Sunday aren't scheduled yet. Anybody got any inside word on where they might play? Atlanta again? Or maybe (I hope) Milwaukee?
