Add the names Matt Williams, Jose Guillen and Ismail Valdez to the buyer's list...

I was going to name the thread "Williams and Guillen Bought Steroids", but then I had an attack of good taste. :D:

I am feeling my teeth start to age, perhaps I should consider a major league baseball career...

Paul Byrd's "prescription" came from a dentist? I didn't read his entire thread but now I can lump him in with the rest of them.

Yeah, I was fine with his story until I learned he obtained this "legal" prescription with a dentist. And his reasoning went something like "Dentist Doctor you really have no idea, you see someone with a white coat".

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yep:
Some prescriptions for the three players were written not by a doctor but by a Florida dentist whose license later was suspended for fraud and incompetence, records show. The same dentist prescribed growth hormone to Paul Byrd, the Cleveland Indians pitcher previously identified by The Chronicle as buying nearly $25,000 worth of growth hormone through the same anti-aging clinic.
That really seems to undermine his claim that he was taking it for legitimate medical purposes.

As long as the plot isn't by Dickens, either is fine with me.

An "on-line" dentist...

This gets back to the point we discuss a bunch. Having a perscription for a given drug may still not even be legal if your perscription is not for a licensed use of that drug. Having your on-line dentist give you any MLB classified PED/Steroid almost surely would not be a legal perscription.

Wonder if tomorrow's Tribune will refer to Valdez as an "ex-Cub."
