Steve Carell is hysterical.

Sidenote what was the reasoning for WSox not appearing on any shows?

Steve is a great guy. I worked with him at a store in River North back in 1988. He was just starting out at Second City's touring company. Shortly after I left the store, he started doing TV commercials.

Real nice, real sincere and has the driest sense of humor in the world.

Ya I know that but wasn't some of the guys scheduled for shows but had to turn them down? Was that when we visited the White House?

Thats my favorite comedy is the dry stuff. His expressions when he says stuff are can't miss.

I enjoyed Manny on Leno. He made a somewhat funny joke about Leno's chin and Youkilis. They showed the play at the plate and after watching the replay he admitted he was out. It was a good few minutes. Different than I expected.

Both Conan and Jay are Boston natives. Is Boston taking over the world?

I think the best part of last night was Seinfeld doing stand up on Conan. He is the best when he wants to be.

That is something I do on a nightly basis. Jay makes me hide under the covers.

Holy crap! Manny's actually dressed decently in that picture. He usually resembles a resident of Lower Wacker with how he physically displays his thuggish self.

Manny lives in an enchanted igloo atop the Sears Tower. I read about it in a local periodical.

Manny is a thug? Do you know something the rest of us don't? Did he beat up a player or umpire and it was not reported somewhere?

I consider Manny more along the lines of a harmless circus clown.

Now, a guy like Ben Davis...that's a thug.

Yeah. The guy is having fun with life which is alright by me. He refuses to take life too seriously. That, by the way, is the key to a long happy life.

I think of Manny as one of the greatest hitters ever who happens to love the game of baseball and actually plays with emotion and has fun. God, what a ****!
