I long coveted Placido Polanco for the White Sox infield until the Iguchi signing. I know I wasn't alone at WSI in doing so either.

The Sox drafted Polanco in the 49th round, six rounds after Schueler drafted his daughter Carey in the 43rd round.

I think that was the same year Fisk's son was in the draft, but chose Carey instead.
