No. I honestly don't think he can with the team the Yankees will put on the field. If he does, he won't continue to be the Yankees manager.

What? Haven't the Yankees used at least 30-40 different starting pitchers over the last few years? Plus, it looks like he's going to deal with the wrath of Steinbrenner, Jr.

I would be shocked if the Yankees made the play-offs next year, and were north of .500 by 2009.
