It appears that the tide is beginning to turn for Yankees manager Joe Torre. Eyewitness News has learned from organizational sources that Torre will probably be asked back to manage the Yankees again.

Of course "organizational sources" could be George Costanza or the guy in the control room dancing to "Cotton Eye Joe." :tongue:

Im glad for Torre if thats true. He's a great manager and all and has done wonders for the Yankees.

NYY should do a sign and trade.

Torre for Ozzie. Not to bash Guillen, but I think Torre is the surperior manager.

Tis a pipedream though.

I think this long time they're taking means he's coming back

It also helps when you get guys like Rivera threatening to go elsewhere

I'd laugh if he then said no
