I was at a White Sox/Yankees game in 2004 when he announced Jose Valentin as the batter for 3 consecutive hitters. You have to give him a lot of credit. If I ever make it that long, the last thing you would see me doing is working.

Sheppard did Giants football game when they played at Yankee Stadium as well, but I don't know if he would have done boxing matches.

He retired from the Giants after the 2005 season.
