I like this video. I saw it on the final home game. I liked the 2006 video better, however.

Can't believe they put the wave in the video.

The one they played at the final game was cool. It showed some of the few highlights of the year along with Coldplay's "Talk" playing over it.

We know how much you love the wave Mike. Do you we can sue the fans who participate in the wave? I think we have probable cause. :redneck

so we are known now as a stadium that does the wave. great. yippee. thank jah.

The wave should be banned from the Cell like yelling freebird was banned at poplar creek. You start the wave, you get tossed, just like if you yelled freebird at Poplar, bye-bye.

Obviously, I'm not the only one who hates it around here.

Not at all. I bet the group of us who hate can find a lawyer who can file a suit against the fans that participate.

Meh, its fine. I appreciate the fact the team acknowledges its fanbase as it does.

And as far as the wave is concerned? We need to work together to knock that off like we work together to keep casual fans from throwing back home run balls.

Peer pressure.

One last mediocre attempt at video by Two by Four. I'll miss their print ads but I hope the next agency the Sox get knows something about A/V.

Two x Four's "Back to the Grind" ads were below mediocre. Just downright awful.

Garbage

I liked the one at the stadium at the last game, agree the choice of music was good. A crappy season, but it had some good moments, and it still was sad to know this was the last time of the year I'd be at the ballpark or seeing the Sox so I did get a feeling out of it

While I appreciate the sentiment behind these efforts by the Sox, everyone knows the real deal. The main reason the Sox had so many fans this year is we all bought tickets before the May collapse. Still, myself included, Sox fans did show really good support for a team barely escaping last place.

If the Sox don't show noticeable improvement the first two months of 2008, things will be different, like pre-2005 different. I'm waiting to get my 2008 tickets. That frigid first weekend this year vs. the Twins also has something to do with that.

The last game I went to this year, a Saturday night game against the Angels, the wave started. The game was a typically bad 2007 game so the wave kept going on around the park for at least 10 minutes. It was just the final, rotten exclamation point to a lost season.

All of you "wave snobs" seriously need to grow up. As long as there's fannies in the seats putting down their hard earned money and therefore contributing to current and future payroll, I could care less if they're doing the wave.

And, if they're having fun doing it then more power to 'em.

How about if they just pay the money, don't do the wave and have fun watching the ballgame?

Those of us who are grammar snobs would like you to know the saying is "I couldn't care less." And the baseball lovers amongst us would like you to know that the wave DOES suck.

To put this into proper place.

50 bucks a ticket (since the wave tends to happen on the lower deck) for 3 tickets.

20 bucks to park.

Another 30 in food.

So I can see someone's rear when I'm trying to watch the game?

Forget it. Watch the game, and if its a bad game, go walk the concourse and leave the fans who want to watch alone.
