Feds target Barry Bonds after Marion Jones admission

While Marion Jones slips into sports infamy, federal prosecutors have reset their sights on their next target: Barry Bonds.

Sources familiar with the investigation into perjury and tax evasion charges against the all-time home run leader told the Daily News that the U.S. Attorney's office in San Francisco remains determined to indict Bonds by the time the grand jury expires in January.

"Once they're finished with (Jones), then it's Bonds," an attorney familiar with the case said.

As long as that lump of human excrement, Greg Anderson, is willing to sit in a jail cell on contempt of court charges for refusing to answer questions about the steroids he bought at Balco and gave Barroids, you can forget about a conviction.

The guy likes jail. It's probably an upgrade over the life he would otherwise live without Barroid's money raining down on him as his trainer/pharmacist.
