For anyone watching or listening to the game today:

Is Mark getting squeezed by the guy in blue or does he just not have his good control today? Hes at 65 pitches through 4 innings which is certainly uncharacteristic.

The throwing error added ~ 8 pitches to the count, 15 pitches/ inning is considered good.

Yeah, but usually Mark is below that number. Also he seems to be going to 3 balls a lot more than normal. Could be just my subjective experience though, but I'd swear hes falling behind more than normal. I guess its fine as long as he can keep getting them out. I just hate to see us have to go to the bullpen early.

I think they will pull Mark B and put in Howry in the 8th.....

He's at about 115 pitches on the day. I'd tend to agree with you.
